Man I have looked all over can't find replacement parts. I need a carburator, back brake light, all kinds of screws. What is the deal with crap assembley job that Pep boys does? Where the *** are the repair centers located. I bought the Baja150 from Pepboys the first night I brought it home gas leak for like 5mins.

The next issue is that once we got the gas to stop leaking and was able to ride some of the srcews from plastic started falling off. Took the atv through a couple trails came back home and the screw that was holding the muffler was missing. The screws that hold the exauhts to the engine were missing the nuts that were bolted on were also missing. So as a result there is now a loud noise because you can hear the air.

Basicaly baja is a crap company that makes crap *** products

I would advise everyone to stay away from Baja if they aren't mechanically inclined. I probably fixed something every trip. Also on the subject of Pep boys. When they "serviced" my Baja Reaction 250, the oil was low, a lot of the buggy wasn't tightened properly and cheap grade bolts were used on two of the shock mounts. More than likely they were missing when they assembled the buggy for crap sakes. You have access to a whole nut bin, use the right size and grade of hardware. I and my brother purchased a buggy about three months apart, they mixed up the titles(the only two they sold that year). I had to track down my brothers buyer and make the title situation right for my buyers, we both sold ours to families with children. Not only that but the title issues states Joe's motorsports and the state(Utah) wont licence the thing because its an out of state title and Pep boys still doesn't know how to fix the problem. Not only that fact, my brother had the same issue and figured the problem out on his own and told Pep boys how to remedy the issue and they didn't make note. So in short... They can't construct the buggy properly, charge for a service that I had to correct, mixed up the titles on te only two they sold all year and don't know ho to fix a title they provide at purchase.

for the money what did you expect....realy!!! I just paid 400 bucks for a DR90 and it runs great! But it is no honda!! If it is your first time in the bike world...GO BUY A BIG NAME BIKE!! Thats the only way to get a product you wont have to touch. If you are some what more mechanicaly inclined, you can get the Baja stuff...But you better check every thing over, twice!! And a drop of lock tight on every bolt wont hurt either...And every once in a while just check every thing over.

I bought a Baja 250 "street bike" from Joe's Sports & Outdoor in Washington state. They sell them, but they don't service them...I should have known.

The assembly was ok, the brakes were weak, not adjusted, and I don't believe the bike had been tested on the road, but I was looking for a bargain. So, after 40 miles the fuel system went south. The brakes were not perfect, but worked. I had to remove the plastic cover to inspect the fuel line and it broke in half. Maybe I pulled too hard, but the point is, Joe's Sports ordered a replacement side panel and one month later I'm still waiting. The kid at the store was super, but the managers had to finally admit that they sell this motorcycle but they have no trained motorcycle mechanics and had zero training in that field. So...............why the *** are they selling this crap? Would you buy a car from Bi-Mart?

Would you?

Bottom line is, after a bunch of negotiating, they took this Chinese made junk back. The next week, I went to a Yamaha dealer, paid 30% more, got a great warranty, great service, trained mechanics and a tried and true product.

My recommendation is as follows: If it's too good to be true, then it's too good to be true. Baja Motorsports sells cheaply made Chinese "motorcycles" through a dealership that has no clue about repair or warranty. So, spend the extra few hundred and let Honda, Suzuki, etc., take care of your warranty problems. Baja Motorsports is not interested in your satisfaction and evidently, neither is Joe's Sports and Junk. Whatever happened to this great company, anyway?

I have had numerous problems with my Phoenix 250. The first one Baja actually RGA'd it and I got a new one due to the multiple problems...primarily from the Pep boys assembly...if you want to call it that. It took MONTHS to get the correct paperwork from Pep Boys and Baja (Correct MCO) in Georgia the DMV actually has a BOLO for Baja and Pep Boys. I finally got it registered but it has been forever and I had to pay a fine for being late. I am now having problems with the headlights and the battery not staying charged. I replaced it and now it is worse. The exhaust pipe came loose, well practically everything has come loose at one point or another. I was driving it down the road and the clutch rod came loose and I was unable to shift. It nearly casued an accident because I was turning and in heavy traffic. It's just a good thing that as a woman I am mechanically inclined and was able to hand tighten it enough to get home. Yes I am frustrated. I just had one of the "authorized" repair shops order the switch and I called today to check on it and they said "yes it got ordered, but we are closing down the business today." UNBELIEVEABLE! so I am now on hold with Baja to find out what to do now.

I had a friend considering buying a Baja scooter from Pep Boys, but after reading all these comments I am going to tell her to RUN!! from it.

if you were to call baja they would give you the nearest service center for your repairs to be done. i am responsible for assembling all the baja products at pepboys in pcola fl store 082 and since i took over there havent been really big issues like that but unless they put lock tight on the bolts before there installed into the body pieces they could vibrate out but the motor bolts and stuff are assembled in china BEFORE they are sent to there warehouse. they are now telling stores to check EVERYTHING before they sell ANYTHING to make sure all the bolts are tight and secure

frist off where did you get the bike? i brought 3 bikes from them i am working on a new vision 250 and the assembely was CRAP! people complain about lose parts on mine they tightend the screws so tight on the body that when i started the bike the body cracked every wher and the wind shild smashed after reving it. I went to joes sporting goods and they ordered a new body kit at no charge because it was there falt idk about pep boys but usualy you can order parts from the store because baja would much rather be willing to deal with a distributor than a costumor. :(
