What is the deal with the loose assembly job!
May 28, 2008
Baja Motorsports complaint by Mikeh79
I have recently purchased 4 baja carbon mini bikes and all of them seemed to have nothing but loose parts on them. Why didn't they put them together better or at least give you some lock-tight with a warning!

I have lost some parts but have found them out where I was riding the bikes. I also have already encounterd a broken idle spring too. I surely recommend using lock-tight while tightening everything on this machine, before you end up loosing a wheel or some other vital part!

I guess that I am going to have to just accept this for now and make any repairs that may come.

Hopefully the replacement parts are easy to find, if not - I guess that I will have to customize some of these machines.

I bought a Honda ATV from a huge dealer, because they give the best prices. A few weeks later, several fastners came loose, and some things got damaged. The guy at the generic shop told me that high-volume shops do very quck assemblies. Any time you buy a new machine, you MUST go through it with your own tube of locktite. In addition, I bought an aircraft safety wire twister with a bunch of wire. Now, nothing comes loose!
